Cool Jo Ice Cream is a fast-growing ice cream and slush outlet committed to providing excellent customer experience, quality products, and a fun and welcoming environment. We are seeking two (2) energetic, honest, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Cashier / Front Office Staff on a full-time contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive customer experience
• Process customer orders accurately and handle payments (cash/mobile money)
• Operate POS/cash register and maintain daily sales records
• Assist customers with menu choices and promote products, combos, and add-ons
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter/front office and customer seating area
• Assist with stock monitoring for packaging, toppings, cups and cones
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
• Create engaging content (videos/photos) for Cool Jo social media platforms
• Support social media engagement (WhatsApp/Facebook/Instagram/TikTok), including responding to inquiries
• Work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, when required

Minimum Qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate with at least Five (5) Credits
• Must be computer literate (basic Microsoft Word and Excel)

Skills & Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Honest, reliable, and able to handle cash responsibly
• Good in social media content creation and engagement
• Ability to use Canva and basic video editing tools is an added advantage
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong discipline, punctuality, and professional appearance

Preferred Candidate

• Residing near Longacres or surrounding areas (Kabwata, Woodlands, Olympia, Rhodes Park, Kabulonga, Chilenje etc.)
• Prior experience in cashiering, retail, restaurant, or customer service is an added advantage
