Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Supplier Management:
Research and identify potential suppliers.
Request quotes from suppliers and negotiate pricing.
Maintain and update supplier database with product information, pricing, and lead times.
Quotation Preparation:
Analyze and compare supplier quotes.
Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for clients.
Ensure quotations are aligned with company pricing strategies and profit margins.
Market Research and Enquiry Management:
Monitor online platforms for relevant product enquiries.
Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
Keep track of industry trends and competitor pricing.
Coordination and Communication:
Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with suppliers and customers to clarify requirements and expectations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain organized records of quotations, supplier interactions, and client communications.
Generate regular reports on quotations and supplier performance.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience:
Prior experience in sales support, or a similar role Is an added advantage, freshers also can apply.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Experience with CRM or procurement software is a plus.
Analytical Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze pricing and product information.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers.
Time Management:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
