Job Description
Job Summary:
The ZEDWALLET Finance Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations related to the ZEDWALLET platform. This role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Processing & Reconciliation:
- Monitor and support Trust account operations
- Monitor and reconcile daily ZEDWALLET transactions, including customer deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in transaction records.

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports related to ZEDWALLET operations.
- Generate insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements in timely and accurate manner.

Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all financial operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with ZEDWALLET operations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with the IT, customer service, and product development teams to resolve any issues related to ZEDWALLET transactions.
- Liaise with banks, mobile network operators, and other external partners to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Provide support during the implementation of new ZEDWALLET products or services.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
- Implement best practices and automation tools to streamline processes.
- Provide training and support to team members on new processes and systems.

Customer Support:
- Assist in resolving customer queries related to ZEDWALLET transactions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage.

Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in the mobile money, Fintech or telecommunications industry.
- Experience with financial reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.

Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
