Job Description:

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Lead the Team Leader’s / Service Center Officers in their sales and registration efforts and ensure they are servicing their customers to the highest standards.
  • Lead effective onboarding of new Regional Sales Staff in cooperation with HR department
  • Perform delivery of regional staff/ agent training
  • Leading adherence to Standard Operating Procedures across regional sales Team
  • Meet regional sales, repayments and repossession targets.
  • Facilitate transportation of reposed kit to service centers
  • Hire a motor bike to use to visit customers in the fields
  • Account for money used in the region by providing receipts to Accounts on time
  • Monitor float use and report to Head of Sales
  • Sending Weekly and Monthly Reports to the Head of sales

Skills:

  • Good knowledge of Zambian market, especially Rural Zambia
  • Proven track record in working with targets and elaborating detailed strategies
  • Leadership, coaching and ability to manage and motivate people
  • Ability to manage field sales teams towards aggressive targets
  • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders in multi-cultural environments
  • Communication skills
  • Good numeric and analytical skills
  • Team player
  • Proven networking and social skills

Qualification & Experience Required:

  • Ability to ride a motorbike
  • 2 years’ experience in the business space or Solar Space
  • Experience in Micro-finance (Added Advantage but not essential)
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Degree or Diploma in Agri- business or related.
  • Fluency in English and one or more languages (Bemba, Nyanja and English)
