Contract period (3) Months
Roles and responsibilities
Community Engagement and Mobilization
1. Assist in mobilizing community members for development activities.
2. Act as a liaison between the agency and the local community, ensuring clear communication
and addressing community concerns.
3. Participate in community meetings to understand the needs and priorities of the beneficiaries.
Program Implementation Support
1. Provide support in the implementation of various child development programs, including
health, education, and livelihood initiatives.
2. Help organize and facilitate workshops, trainings, and awareness campaigns.
3. Assist in distributing educational materials, supplies, or aid to beneficiaries as required.
Data Collection and Reporting
1. Collect and document data from community activities for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
2. Prepare reports on activities conducted, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas
for improvement.
3. Maintain accurate records of community interactions and program outcome.
Capacity Building and Training
1. Assist in training community groups, such as farmer cooperatives, women’s groups, or youth
groups, in relevant skills.
2. Provide support to local community members in areas such as financial literacy, income-
generating activities, and child protection practices.
Advocacy and Awareness
1. Advocate for child rights and protection through community sensitization programs.
2. Raise awareness on issues such as health, nutrition, education, and environmental conservation.
3. Collaborate with local leaders and stakeholders to promote the agency’s mission and objectives.
Administrative Support
1. Assist in organizing and managing documentation related to the agency’s projects.
2. Support office staff with logistical arrangements for fieldwork and events.
3. Help maintain inventory and ensure the proper use of agency resources.
Monitoring and Feedback
1. Monitor program activities in the field and report any issues or recommendations for improvement.
2. Gather feedback from beneficiaries to help assess the impact of the agency’s interventions.
Personal Development
1. Participate in orientation, training, and mentorship programs provided by the agency.
2. Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to the agency’s goals and approaches.

1. Must possess a minimum degree in Development Studies/ Social work or any other social science
2. Excellent in report writing, documentary production and analytical skills.
3. Experience in using Microsoft Office (word, Access Excel).

Volunteer (Communication)
Key Responsibilities:
The Volunteer (Communication) will play a key role in enhancing our brand, visibility, and engagement. Their responsibilities will include:
- Content Creation & Management: Develop compelling content for our website, social media channels, newsletters, and other communication materials.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and external stakeholders to maximize media coverage and exposure.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the design and implementation of communication strategies and campaigns aimed at raising awareness about our programs and initiatives.
- Social Media Management: Monitor and engage with our community across social media platforms, ensuring timely and relevant posts.
- Internal Communication: Coordinate communication efforts within the organization to ensure alignment across teams and effective dissemination of key information.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a communications role, preferably in the NGO or nonprofit sector.
- Proven experience in writing, editing, and creating content for various media platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with photography or videography.
- Graphic design skills or familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
- Multilingual skills are an advantage (e.g., English, [local languages]).

DATA COLLECTORS
CCDA is looking for five (5) Data Collectors with a professional background in gathering data from various sources to support research, analysis and decision-making processes. The data collector will play a crucial role in ensuring that the information being collected is accurate, reliable, and relevant to the project or study they are supporting.
Their task will vary depending on the field of research, but generally focus on gathering raw data through surveys, interviews, fieldwork, observations, or other methods.
Duration: 7 th April to 23 rd May 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys, interviews, or fieldwork to collect data from specified sources.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in data collection across all research activities.
- Record data manually or using digital tools in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of collected data.
- Report data findings to the research team, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Assist in verifying data quality and resolving inconsistencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Previous experience in data collection, fieldwork, or research support is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow specific instructions.
- Comfortable using basic technology (smartphones, tablets, data entry software).
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with survey tools (e.g., Google Forms, SurveyMonkey).
- Experience with mobile data collection platforms or apps. (Commcare and Kobo collect)

VOLUNTEER (PROCUREMENT)
INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Volunteer (Procurement) role is designed to support CCDA’s procurement function and is essential in complimenting existing human resource capacity in the unit to ensure timely and fully compliant procurement processes are achieved. The role is part of the operations and administrative unit and will interact with key programme staff to understand their respective procurement needs and support. As such CCDA seeks to recruit a dynamic and suitably qualified individual to fill this position on a short-term basis of three months renewable.
The role reports to the Finance and Administrative Manager
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Review all purchase requisitions and confirm budget availability with end users prior to procurement commencement
2. Float requests for quotations and facilitate bid analysis through established internal procurement committee based on procurement policy guidelines
3. Following approval of selected bidder, facilitate preparation of local purchase orders
4. Managing communication with vendors
5. Ensure procurement documentation is complete and attached invoices and Good received notes are verified and submitted to finance for payment
6. Filling in and updating the procurement tracker every two weeks
7. Support to filing all completed procurement information
8. Proactively assist in ensuring routine payment for services such as insurance, security, and internet are processed in a timely manner.
9. Maintain effective communication with staff internally on progress of all procurements and address any existing challenges
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1. First degree in procurement or a related field
2. Excellent written and verbal communication.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Dove payroll systems
4. Membership to the Zambia Institute for purchasing and supply- ZIPS
