Primelink Group Incorporated Limited is a registered institution offering credit services to both public and private sector. The company is currently Looking for qualified individuals who are based in Lusaka to fill up the following vacant positions.

Trainee Loan recoveries Officer x1. The core job purpose is managing the customer onboarding process from loan origination, disbursement, and collection.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interviewing loan applicants to provide and obtain customer information as part of KYC
  • Informing clients of available loans and credit options, as well as the terms of service.
  • Constantly monitoring performance of loan portfolio and clients and immediately advising management when client’s situation changes.
  • Obtaining and reviewing financial information, including credit histories and financial statements.
  • Negotiating payment arrangements with delinquent loan clients.
  • Reviewing the company debtor list and maintaining customer payment records.
  • Preparing bank DDACCs forms and payroll deduction schedule for different Banks and companies
  • Contacting customers and informing them of their overdue bills.
  • Advising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments.
  • Maintaining a collateral database and site visits to ensure the pledged collateral is well maintained and appropriately registered.
  • Instituting debt collecting methods and legal action when customers fail to pay their debt.

Qualifications and skills

  • A minimum of a Diploma, preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Accounting or any other Commercial Related Degree from a recognized University
  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (both in writing and oral)
  • Excellent negotiation skills

Special Knowledge, Skills and abilities:

  • Ability to use a variety of computer applications including Microsoft package (MS Word and Excel)
  • Familiarity with filing and office administration
  • Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices
  • Results oriented with the ability to get things done
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer satisfaction orientation and sales competencies
