Primelink Group Incorporated Limited is a registered institution offering credit services to both public and private sector. The company is currently Looking for qualified individuals who are based in Lusaka to fill up the following vacant positions.
Trainee Credit Officer x 1. The core job purpose is managing the customer onboarding process from loan origination, disbursement, and collection.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
• Assess applicants to determine their eligibility and financial feasibility accessing loans.
• Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plans
• Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report them to senior management.
• Prepare loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
• Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
• Maintain and update account records
• Customer and business visitation to assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans.
• Develop referral networks and customer database, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
• Build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process.
• Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

Qualifications and skills

• A minimum of a Diploma, preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Accounting or any other Commercial Related Degree from a recognized University
• Full Grade 12 School Certificate
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (both in writing and oral)
• Excellent marketing skills
• Ability to use a variety of computer applications including Microsoft package
