Job Purpose
The M & E Data Entry Clerk will work with the Senior Monitoring and Evaluations Officer whilst receiving support from the Programme Assistant. Assist the PMER and Programme Assistant in the development of data collection tools for the target beneficiaries. Conduct reviews of the tools to ensure each indicator has questions for respondents to generate data for analysis of performance against the baseline.

Summary of Key Duties;

  • Support the development of a detailed data collection plan using the information in the survey guide (to be shared) and project sites sampling frame from the partners.
  • Conduct data collection with guidance from the PMER. This will involve interviewing selected respondents in the enumeration areas.
  • Support the Programme Assistant in partner liaison to arrange for interview appointments and logistics before and during data collection.
  • Conduct data transcribing and preliminary analysis and contribute the development of the report.
  • Preform any other task assigned by the PMER and PA relating to the Midline RF assessment.
  • Support the development of these Impact Stories.

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Demography, Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics or any other social science.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data collection, and report development.
  • Good knowledge on writing reports and designing tools for data collection.
  • Good interpersonal, communications, and facilitation skills.
  • Analytical knowledge including knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Work experience directly related to Evaluations of Economic
    Empowerment, Climate Smart, Gender-Based Violence And Fighting Equality
    (Governance/Policy Analysis) Programmes have an added advantage.
