Emerging Cooking Solutions (Zambia) Limited, trading as SupaMoto, is a leading player in the Advanced Biomass Cooking sector, dedicated to positive global impacts. As a Zambian/Swedish joint venture, we introduce clean-burning modern cook-stoves that use renewable cooking fuel pellets, our locally produced pellets are an affordable and eco-friendly alternative to charcoal, promoting environmental sustainability and addressing the challenge of deforestation.

Position Overview:
As the Technical Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our daily technical operations. This position involves providing comprehensive technical support to contribute to the overall efficiency of our dynamic team.

Devices:
– Provide first line support to branch end-users (this may be in person or remotely).
– Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software and networks.
– Enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
Fleet: Provide first line support to fleet users (this may be in person or remotely).
Maintenance & Monitoring:
Systems: Monitor and maintain solar backup system, network, CCTV. Resolve or escalate faults when necessary
Client products: Perform maintenance and refurbishment on client products that have been damaged, returned or worn out over time. You will be required to supervise a team.
Fleet: Conduct monitoring routines and inspection protocols to sustain the operational efficiency and security of vehicles.
Procurement: Prepare purchase requisitions for items as need arises and maintain an organized inventory of devices and tools.
Additional Responsibilities:
Reporting: Compile recurring reports.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake other tasks as assigned by supervisors to support the overall efficiency of the department.
Skills requirements:

Requirements:
Minimum Degree in IT, engineering field.
Familiar with networking fundamentals.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office suite.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
