What is the job about?

The systems administrator will be responsible for maintaining the entire IT infrastructure of Vitalite and maintaining cloud hosting services and software. The Systems Administrator will report to IT Manager.

Successful applicants for this role will be:

  • Oversee Vitalite Pay as you go system performance and report generation
  • Perform server administration tasks
  • Offer timely software support and train users on any software
  •  Support customer care team on 3CX System
  • Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
  • Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backup
  • Supervise hardware repair and manage ICT Inventory
  • Engage with external service providers

Role Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Any relevant additional certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) will be an advantage
  • Proven work experience in IT
  • Experience with server operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, and virtualization
  • Experience in project management, databases and cloud hosting
  • Experience in coordinating work with Mobile Network Operators and VPNs
  • Grade 12 certificate with good Mathematics and English results
  • Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel
