Job Description:

As a Surgeon at Metro Sda Hospital, you will specialize in surgical procedures. You will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat patients with complex cardiovascular and thoracic conditions. Your responsibilities will include performing surgeries, managing postoperative care, and contributing to the advancement of surgery practices through research and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair/replacement, and lung resections.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide postoperative care and manage complications-related surgeries.
• Participate in on-call duties and manage emergency cases.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in surgery.
• Mentor and train surgical residents, fellows, and other medical staff.
• Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Surgery.
• Valid medical license to practice
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surgeon, with a proven record of accomplishment of successful surgeries.
• Expertise in complex surgical procedures.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and make critical decisions under pressure.
