ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City. ICAP is seeking highly qualified candidates to serve as I-Surge Officers. The positions will be based in various districts in North-Western Provinces of Zambia. The candidates should be able to fill the position by 1st October 2024.

The incumbent will possess a minimum of a full grade 12 certificate, Diploma or Degree or in Clinical medicine, Registered Nursing or any related field, should be fully registered with HPCZ or Nursing and midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ), should be demonstrated technical experience and skills in HIV/TB prevention, care and treatment, have 3- 5 years’ experience with HIV/TB healthcare delivery at facility level in a resource limited setting, must be trained in management of ART/OIs for Adults, Paediatrics and MCH, trained in and with demonstrated knowledge in current HIV case identification approaches including HIV index testing, KYCHS+, SNT etc., have the ability to provide daily mentorship to ART providers, nurses and community-based volunteers, ability to supervise and monitor day to day activities for community-based volunteers, ability to coordinate community activities with health facility In-charges, should be a team player with ability to coordinate HIV/TB services at the facility, should have computer skills: Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint.
