Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage and optimize the procurement, production, and distribution of goods.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Monitor inventory levels and implement measures to reduce excess stock and minimize shortages.
Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, marketing, and finance to align supply chain activities with business goals.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality standards.
Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and address disruptions in the supply chain.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, production, and logistics.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
