1. Academics Program Manager

Job Summary:

Family Legacy is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to provide leadership and vision in establishing and implementing the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic plans at Legacy Academies in Zambia. The successful candidate will oversee educational programs, manage staff, ensure compliance with policies, and lead in strategic planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. People Management: Oversee, manage, and coach Legacy Academy Deputy Program Managers and other direct reports

2. Leadership: Ensure compliance with policies, develop feedback instruments, and build relationships with team members

3. Strategic Planning and Reporting: Analyze needs, participate in strategic planning, and ensure involvement of staff in planning and reporting

4. Financial Responsibility: Recommend annual budget, ensure adherence to budget, and oversee procurement procedures

5. Records Management: Maintain accurate sponsorship records, update information to the Dallas office, and collaborate with other line managers

6. Procurement and Distribution of School Resources: Work with Stateside to procure and distribute learning materials to schools

7. Communication: Ensure supervisor is informed on educational trends, facilitate communication among staff, and monitor communication of sponsored children
