About the role:

We are looking for skilled Sewing Machine Operators (35).  The selected operators will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines. The selected Operators will attend a short course on operation and maintenance of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operation of the sewing machine
• Inspect sewn materials to ensure that seams meet the specifications and make adjustments if needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines.
• Identify and resolve any issues related to sewing machines or the sewing process.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating sewing machines and handling materials.
• Maintain accurate records of sewing activities, including machine settings, production output, and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

• Experience in operating industrial sewing machines, preferably in leather or clothing manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of sewing techniques, sewing machine operation, and material properties (especially leather).
• Technical training in sewing or a related field is preferred.
