Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Senior HR Officer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about people and culture management, someone highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As an Senior HR Officer , you will be a crucial part of our HR team, assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our HR operations.
Responsibilities
-Provide support and guidance to staff.
-Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants. collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
– Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
-Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
-Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
-Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
-Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
-Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
-Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
-Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
-Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
-Design and implement employee retention strategies
-performs other assigned duties
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). ZIHRM membership is a plus.
– A Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience.
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-A positive and proactive attitude.
