Right to Care Zambia has been awarded a five (5) year project funded by the USAID through the PEPFAR mechanism. The USAID – Action HIV project aims to reduce HIV mortality, morbidity and transmission by achieving the UNAIDS and PEPFAR goal of 95/95/95 HIV treatment coverage by providing comprehensive HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment maintenance services in Luapula, Northern and Muchinga provinces of Zambia. The USAID Action HIV project will work closely with and in support of the Ministry of Health.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Related Degree in Information Technology / Information Systems or Computer Sciences
• 2+ years IT developer experience using a combination of technologies (.Net – C#, Angular, JAVA Script, CSS, PHP, Web API 2.0,
• Entity Framework, LINQ, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap, JQX Widgets,
• Developing databases using SQL and MySQL and
• Current knowledge of trends and development in computer/ tablet and mobile health technology and the administration of   operations and long-range user requirements
• 4 years or more years in IT business/Industry

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Technology / Information Systems or Computer Sciences
• 5+ years IT developer experience using a combination of technologies (.Net – C#, Angular, JAVA Script, CSS, PHP, Web API 2.0, Entity Framework, LINQ, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap, JQX Widgets,
• Developing databases using SQL and MySQL and
• Expertise in data visualizations, mHealth and GIS platforms
• At least 5 years’ experience supporting M-health applications/ record systems
• SmartCare Certification will be an added advantage

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Thoroughly document technical designs (UID, System Architecture Design, File and Database Design) of IT Business Solutions before and during development

• Develop solutions using a variety of techniques to meet the requirements of business
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to implement the requirements and provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
