International company OKRO MINING LIMITED is looking for the position of Senior Accountant

About the Company:  Established in 2024, OKRO MINING LIMITED is operating in the mining and processing sector of minerals.

Employment type: Full-time

Location: Lusaka, Republic of Zambia

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations;
• Manage the budgeting process, forecasting revenues, and monitoring expenditures;
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections;
• Conduct audits and prepare reports to identify and mitigate financial risks;
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for financial improvement and operational efficiency;

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA or equivalent certification is preferred;
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the mining or industrial sector;
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting;
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office;
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills;
