Secama is looking for a Security Response Driver for our Lusaka office. The Security Response Driver will be responsible for assisting operations from Lusaka Southbound up until the border of South Africa.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform operational inspections of vehicles to include tyres, lights, brakes, oil, water, and the interior.

· Ensure all company vehicles have valid disks e.g., road tax, fitness and insurance.

· Ensure all vehicle tracking, vehicle mileage and fuel consumption records are kept up to date.

· Ensure that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is reported, completed, and recorded timely.

· Ensure that company vehicles are always cleaned, ready for use and refueled on time.

· Assist with Deploying and inspecting of security escort guards in different yards in Lusaka.

· Perform routine security patrols, vehicle escort and emergency reaction response.

· Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary.

· Always abides by the Afrisec Group driver policy.

Requirements

· Clean Driving license class C or CE and a defensive driving course.

· Must possess a valid manual SADC/Zambia driving license for more than 5 years.

· Must possess a minimum of two years’ professional driving experience.

· Computer and smartphone literate.

· Good command of English language.

· Previous experience in a transport and logistics or security related field essential.

· Experience driving in other SADC countries and valid passport.

· Able to function calmly amid a crisis.

· To have a flexible approach to working hours and additional tasks and duties.
