Job Summary: M&J Zambia is looking for a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our energetic sales team. The Salesperson will be responsible for nurturing and growing our client base by identifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and providing exceptional service to existing customers. This role requires a strong understanding of our product offerings and the ability to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and industry research.
Conduct client meetings to present and sell company products and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
Understand and demonstrate the features and values of our products and services, particularly in the areas of business advisory, ERP systems (like Sage Pastel, QuickBooks, Zoho, Palladium, Odoo), and our specialized software solutions like Eduplus and Wese.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to clients’ needs.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of market trends, competitors, and industry insights.
Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop strategies for expanding client base.
Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Proven sales experience, preferably in the technology or business advisory sectors.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
