Chilanga Cement. Ndola Plant, is looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic and qualified individuals to take up the roles of

Position: Sales Representative

Location: Ndola

Overall Mission of the Role: To sell Chilanga Cement Zambia products in line with Company’s objectives and targets while upholding safety standards to Chinese funded enterprises and industrial customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling orders from Chinese funded enterprises and industrial customers in Northern Zambia
  • Develop and maintain relations with Chinese customers through speedy attendance to their needs, complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Responsible for the attraction of new Chinese customers and maintaining old customers
  • Responsible for the translation of relevant materials in the sales department to promote the company’s products and increase brand influence Regularly scan the area for new developmental projects, and report back to management on a regular basis.
  • Keep abreast of relevant information such as international and domestic industry information, products and markets, and provide decision-making basis for business expansion
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as leadership in local authorities, influential business individuals to ensure the Chilanga Cement brand is held in high esteem
  • Regularly report to management activities prevailing in the market and changing business trends, customer and competitive activity

Qualifications or Skills required:

  • Bachelor Degree in International Trade or Sales & Marketing
  • Holder of a Chinese HSK-6 certificate with good Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
  • Holder of a clean driving license
  • Have 2-3 years of working experience in industrial sales:
  • Able to work with minimum or no supervision
  • Good negotiation and selling skills
  • A fast learner, enthusiastic, must have initiative and desire to succeed, good public relations and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, dynamic and a self-starter
  • Ability to write basic and technical reports and be able to present to management and customers
  • Willing to Travel and a team player
