About Us:
WilaWane Store Limited is a children’s educational wooden toys and bookstore. We are on a mission to encourage children’s learning through play and literature – all in a screen-free environment. We are doing this by providing a wide range of wooden toys, Montessori-aligned resources, STEAM kits, and storybooks. But beyond that, we are creating a platform to help support parents and caregivers in successfully implementing play-based learning practices, starting right at home.

Internship Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales and Marketing / Admin Intern to join our team in January 2025. This role is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and administration in an impactful startup. If you love interacting with children and families and want to contribute to making a difference in their learning journey, this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and process orders.
  • Identify and research potential clients and partners.
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
  • Follow up on leads and manage client communication to convert inquiries into sales.

Social Media Management:

  • Create, schedule, and manage content across Wilawane Store’s social media platforms and website.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and grow our online community.
  • Track social media/website metrics and generate reports to optimize engagement strategies.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Assist in developing and executing creative marketing campaigns, including promotions and events.
  • Contribute to the design and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Track campaign performance metrics and suggest improvements for future efforts.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Provide exceptional customer service via email, phone, and in person.
  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Help maintain and update client databases and CRM systems.
  • Nurture relationships with customers to build loyalty and encourage repeat business.

What We’re Looking For:

Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to track and analyse performance metrics effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and digital marketing tools is a plus.
