ABOUT ONLINE EXPRESS LIMITED
Established in 2016, Online Express Limited specializes in providing air freight, e-commerce, sea freight, last mile delivery, warehousing and customs clearing services across the United Kingdom (UK) and United States of America (USA). In Zambia, we are a licensed international and domestic postal courier company, headquartered at Block 7, Agora Village, Mass Media, and Lusaka.
The company is on a growth trajectory with plans to grow new products and business database in air freight, sea freight, last mile delivery and warehousing.
Online Express Limited has retained CALIBDEV Consultants to Manage the company’s HR functions. CALIBDEV now hereby seek to recruit the prospective candidates on Behalf of Online Express.
ABOUT THE POSITION: SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVES
We are looking to recruit five (05) qualified and accomplished professionals who are determined to grow their careers and profession with the Online Express to join our dynamic Sales and Marketing Department on a full-time basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
- The candidates should be residents of the towns or cities where the positions are based.
- Preferably a candidate with own motor vehicle (the company will facilitate vehicle running costs).
LOCATIONS AND NUMBER OF POSITIONS:
- Lusaka: 2 positions
- Kitwe: 1 position
- Solwezi: 1 position
- Ndola: 1 position
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies to promote our services and attract new customers.
- Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, business opportunities, and threats.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to drive business growth and revenue.
- Identify and target key customer segments and market niches.
- Arrange meetings with potential customers and provide solutions to their challenges.
- Provide feedback from customer surveys and interviews to support product development and enhance service performance.
- Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, digital content, and advertisements.
- Utilize social media and digital marketing channels to increase brand visibility.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Develop and implement customer loyalty strategies to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Develop performance work plans and review personal performance to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Maintain a customer database to facilitate appropriate interventions.
- Coordinate and participate in marketing events to promote sales.
- Build staff capacities to ensure consistent service quality by following standard operating procedures and driving quality improvement initiatives.
DESIRED COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- School certificate with credits or better in 5 O-level subjects, including English, Mathematics, and Sciences.
- Higher Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration from reputable colleges or Universities.
- 3 to 4 years of work experience in sales and marketing, preferably in similar roles and industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- IT proficiency, including digital marketing tools, social media platforms, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and website or social media networking.
- Registered member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing or Chartered Institute of Marketing (required).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
