Job Description
Vital Beverages is a recognized producer of high quality natural spring water products that complements the existing traditional products in order to satisfy the changing demands of the market; currently looking for highly motivated and qualified individuals for the following position.
SALES FIELD AGENT (3 POSITIONS )
As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for promoting and selling products or services on behalf of a company. Your main objective will be to meet sales targets and generate revenue by engaging with potential customers and closing deals. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the company by effectively communicating the value of the products or services to prospective clients. This job enquires the Sales Agent to travel in a truck to different locations to reach potential clients, manage inventory, balance cash and electronic payment of their respective clients, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify potential customers by visiting different locations within the designated territory.
- Sell products directly to customers, explaining features, benefits, and pricing to drive sales and meet given quotas.
- Effectively manage inventory levels in the truck, ensuring sufficient stock is available to fulfil customer orders.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales transactions, and cash collected, ensuring proper balancing and accountability.
- Collect and handle cash payments from customers, following company policies and procedures for cash handling and reconciliation.
- Organize customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery while managing any special requests or product customization.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics or warehouse personnel, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment and product loadings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Continuously seek opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products to existing customers to maximize sales potential.
- Provide feedback to sales managers regarding customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a field sales or direct selling role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and build relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively balance sales activities, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-motivation and drive.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in stock management, cash handling, and order fulfilment.
- Proficient in basic mathematics to perform cash reconciliation and manage stock quantities.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading and unloading products onto the truck.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and negotiation skills to close deals and drive revenue.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a truck safely.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to providing excellent service.

Qualifications
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Sales Management or its equivalent
- Valid drivers License C and above
- At least 3 years of experience in sales field
- Sales agents who have experience in Ndola, and Chingola will have preference.
