Company: Lyft Rental and Car Hire

Location: Lusaka

  Reports To: General Manager

2. Job Summary

Lyft Rental and Car Hire is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sales Executive to drive customer satisfaction and grow sales for our fleet of 30 vehicles. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting the company’s services, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring a seamless rental experience from booking to return.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Business Development

– Actively promote the company’s car rental services to individual and corporate clients.

– Identify potential customers and pursue leads to grow the business.

– Develop and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

– Upsell additional services such as insurance, chauffeur services, or extended rental packages.

– Assist in achieving monthly sales targets set by management.

2. Customer Service

– Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person at the rental office.

– Guide customers through the rental process, from explaining vehicle options to completing rental agreements.

– Ensure customers understand the terms and conditions of the rental service, including insurance coverage and payment terms.

– Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.

3. Booking Management

– Process bookings and reservations accurately using the company’s rental management software.

– Ensure all rental agreements and documentation are properly completed and stored.

– Coordinate with the Fleet Supervisor to ensure vehicle availability and timely delivery to customers.

4. Operational Support

– Perform vehicle inspections during check-out and check-in to assess condition and mileage.

– Maintain accurate records of rentals, payments, and customer interactions.

– Collaborate with the Fleet Supervisor to manage vehicle allocation efficiently.

5. Marketing Support 

– Participate in promotional campaigns and events to raise awareness of the brand.

– Collect customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and share insights with management.

– Support social media and online marketing efforts by providing content ideas based on customer interactions.

Key Requirements

Education and Experience

– Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Customer Service, or a related field.

– 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (experience in the car rental or automotive industry is an advantage).

Skills 

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Strong sales and negotiation abilities.

– Proficiency in using computer systems and rental software (training will be provided).

– Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
