About the role:
Our client is searching for Sales Associates/Executives who will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will promote and sell our high-quality stationery and FMCG products to retailers, wholesalers, and corporate clients, while also monitoring market trends and competitor activities to uncover new business avenues. The role requires you to manage your own sales pipeline, provide excellent customer service, and meet sales targets, all while contributing to the overall success of a dynamic and expanding company. Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth & New Opportunities
- Identify and target new sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prospect for new business through research, networking, and outreach to potential clients.
- Actively seek new partnerships and opportunities for market expansion.
Client Relationship Management
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to enhance long-term business partnerships.
Product Promotion & Sales
- Promote and sell the company’s product range to retailers, wholesalers, and corporate clients.
- Tailor product offerings to meet the specific needs of different clients and sectors.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to potential customers, closing sales effectively.
Market Analysis & Trend Monitoring
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry developments to recommend new products or services to clients.
- Provide feedback to the company about market conditions and competitive intelligence.
Customer Service Excellence
- Address client queries, concerns, and issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction and positive relationships.
- Ensure clients receive timely support and assistance throughout the sales process.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare accurate and detailed sales reports, tracking progress towards targets.
- Submit regular sales forecasts to management, outlining expected outcomes.
- Gather customer feedback to assist in refining sales strategies and product offerings.
Lead Follow-Up & CRM Management
- Follow up on new leads and prospects in a timely manner to convert them into active clients.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of client interactions in the CRM system.
- Ensure smooth and organized management of customer data, sales activities, and follow-up schedules.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience, ideally in the stationery or FMCG industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and persuade.
- Self-motivated, independent, and capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools.
