Job Description
Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to support PFF to mobilise financial resources and improve its visibility
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
PFF will engage a resource mobilisation officer whose key duties will include the following, among others:
- Support resource mobilization through engagements with international and domestic funders and preparation of funding proposals in line with PFF’s focus areas
- Support the preparation of technical reports and documents
- Managing daily the PFF social media platforms i.e Facebook, TWITTER, WHATSAPP, WEBSITE, LINKEDIN etc. to make visible the work done by the organisation
- Support other administrative or technical duties assigned by management or supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Grade twelve certificate
- Degree in project management, marketing, economics, developmental studies and NGO management from a recognized institution; experience in NGO work will be an added advantage
- Competence in ICT especially updating social media platforms such as Facebook , TWITTER, WHATSAPP, WEBSITE, LINKEDIN
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with various audiences and stakeholders
- Data analysis, superior writing, editing, information analysis, report writing and research skills;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Excellent computer skills
- Passion for prison work especially in areas of Access to justice, human rights, rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates and ex-inmates, empowerment and Health,
