Job Description
LOCATION: Sesheke
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To plan and oversee the Front Desk, Food & Beverages Outlets, Events/Functions, Kitchen, and Housekeeping (Including, Laundry, public areas, etc.)
2. Plan and oversee the day–to–day maintenance, landscaping, property upkeep, and overall resort and restaurant security.
3. To develop and sustain operating budgets which are as accurate as possible.
4. To direct, administer, lead, and motivate the activities of the entire operation of the resort and restaurant.
5. To oversee procurement of the resort and restaurant inventory
6. To ensure that long-term financial stability goals are achieved.
7. To act on the development of marketing, financial performance, personnel, and service to all guests and employees of the entire resort and restaurant.
8. Manage all digital marketing activities and social media pages
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:
1. Excellent customer service skills
2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
3. The ability to communicate confidently and share information efficiently, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
4. Experience using computers for a range of tasks.
5. Excellent organizing skills
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Applicants should have a Diploma in either Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Front Office and Housekeeping Management, or Food and Beverage Service.
2. Must be a paid-up member of the Hotel Managers’ Registration Council.
3. Grade 12 certificate.
4. Not less than two (2) years of experience in a similar position in an organization within the tourism and hospitality industry.
