Regulation and Compliance Officers The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, Teaching Profession Act No. 5 of 2013. The mandate of the TCZ is to provide for the regulation of teachers, their practice and professional conduct.
The institution has three (3) vacancies for Regulation and Compliance Officers (TC 05) and is now inviting applications from suitably qualified Zambians to apply for the positions.
JOB PURPOSE
To undertake the regulation of professional conduct of teachers and enforcement of teaching standards in order to promote professionalism and ensure compliance.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Inspections: undertakes effectively the inspections of teaching practitioners in order ensure compliance to regulations and set standards.
ii. Investigations: undertakes effectively investigation of alleged breaches of regulations and standards by teaching practitioners and institutions in order to generate evidence for decision making information.
iii. Inspection Reports: undertakes effectively, the preparation of inspection reports in order to facilitate decision making.
REQUIREMENTS
(i)Applicants must be aged between 25-45years;
(ii) A Full Grade Twelve (12)/Form 5 School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ level credit or better including English Language and Mathematics;
(iii) Bachelors of Arts Degree in Education or its equivalent
(vi) 2 years minimum experience
(v) Applicants must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia with valid practising license
