Human Rights Commission

The Human Rights Commission is a National Human rights Institution established under Article 230 () of the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) Act No. 2 of 2016 with a broad mandate of ensuring that the Bill of Rights is upheld and protected.

The Human Rights Commission is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions.

JOB TITLE: REGISTRY CLERK POSITIONS: ONE (1) SALARY GRADE: HRCIC STATION: KASAMA

ONE (1) POSITION ON CONTRACT FROM OCTOBER 2022 TO DECEMBER 2022

Reporting to: Investigations Officer

 

 

Knowledge and Experience

  1. Candidates must be Zambians between 25 years and 40 years
  2. Must have a full Grade 12 Certificate
  3. Must have a Certificate in Records Management or equivalent
  4. Atleast one (1) year experience

Duties

The successful candidate will report to the Investigations Officer and will be responsible for:

i. Maintaining a register of incoming and outgoing mail and receipt of complaints to avoid losses and misdirection

ii. Undertaking timely the opening and closing files to maintain accurate records

iii. Keeping an inventory of closed files in readiness for dispatch to the Archives

iv. Circulating open mail and files to actioning Officers to avoid delays and leakages

v. Preparing timely complaints statistics to facilitate the flow and storage of information
