To support this vision KMRL would like to recruit an experienced and qualified individual for the following position in the underground Medical Department
1. Registered Theatre Nurse

JOB PURPOSE:
Assist in the smooth running of the Theatre and provision of safe surgical operations which is cost effective without compromising the safety standards.

• Assist in surgical procedures by ensuring adequate preparation of environment and surgical supplies • Ensure emergency equipment are in good working conditions and drugs are available Ensure good housekeeping in order to prevent cross infection
Evaluate client concerns and complaints raised through questionnaires to enhance customer satisfaction
• Assist and ascertain patients’ conditions and report any deviation to the Nursing Officer or Medical Officer
• Maintain all Theatre records correctly and participate in all Safety Health Environment and Quality activities.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma in Registered Nursing
• Advanced Diploma in Theatre Nursing
• Minimum 2 years working experience
Computer literate
Full registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia
