Job Description
Okwera is hiring a Zambia-based Part-Time Recruitment Assistant to join our team at Okwera. This is a fully remote role and as such, it is paramount that you have reliable internet access and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will work anywhere from 3hrs to 7hrs per week, and the pay range is K100 – K170 per hour depending on experience – paid out bi-weekly. Please share with your network

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Coordinate hiring activities
-Undertake clerical duties (e.g. answering emails and scheduling phone screens)
-Manage job requisitions; post, edit and update job descriptions
-Help with resume screening and initial phone screens
-Maintain candidate database
-Source for candidates
-Assist recruiters in reviewing applications for quality and scheduling purposes
-Assist recruiters by sourcing resumes, scheduling interviews, and interviewing candidates to fill the staffing requirements for our clients
-Identify opportunities for improving the candidate experience and interview process efficiency
REQUIREMENTS
-The role requires the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines with good organizational and interpersonal abilities.
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Proficient in Google Suite applications (Google Docs, Gmail, and Google Spreadsheet)
-Ability to communicate professionally, tactfully and with the utmost diplomacy while treating all candidates with dignity and respect
-Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
-Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining the order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks
-Social media and tech-savvy
-Ability to solve problems, take ownership and accountability
-Background in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition or similar is considered a huge asset
