Investrust Bank Plc (BP) is looking for suitably qualified vibrant and self-motivated individuals to positions that have fallen vacantas below;
Position Title: Public Relations Manager – Communications & Branding x 1
Grade: IBP6
Department: Corporate Affairs and Marketing
Location: Head Office
Reports to: Head – Corporate Affairs and Marketing
Job Purpose
To be responsible for developing and managing the Bank’s visual identity and maintain the desired public perception of the brand as part of the Bank’s communication and branding strategy to translate brand strategies into brand plans brand positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Promotes the Bank’s positive mage with all stakeholders by using various and appropriate channels 2. Manages effectively and efficently the Bank’s internal andexternal communications and branding
3. Takes leaders in orng the brand and prov de leaders in the execution of the Bank’s brand
internally and externally
4. Assists with or give input to the Deve opment of Communication and Branding Plans and Strategies
5. Promptly and accurately communicates key messages to defined target audiences internally and
externally in order to establish goodwill and understand ng between the Bank and its stakeholders
6. Monitors press coverage relating to the Bank and its brand and to play down any negative publicity
liaising with the supervisor ancescalating bed public ty for further action and guidance on a regular basis
7. Manages media olations through de berate offorts to engage with media personnel
8. Ensures that the Managing Director and other Executive Officers effectively interact with the media
9. Liases with med handles media queries and requests for interviews, statements etc
10. Assists in writing speeches for the Managing Director and other Executive Officers
11. Stays up to date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels
12. Provides input into website and social media content
13. Analyses how the brand is positioned in the market and crystal zes targeted consumers’ insights
14. Leads creative development and create motivating stimulus that appeals to targeted population
15. Monitors market trends and researches consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify
opportunities and key ssues.
Qualifications and experience
1 Grade 12 Certificate with 5’0′ with creditor better in Mathematics and English
2. Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Public Administration or any other
related filed
3. Minimum of three years proven experience in communications/Marketing/PR disciplines
