Position – Provincial Key Populations Coordinator, Northern
Location: Kasama, Project Office
Reports to: Technical Advisor, KP

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Provincial Key Populations Coordinator for the Stop GBV Now Project Office, Kasama.
Basic function
The Stop GBV Now Provincial Key Populations Coordinator will provide technical and program management oversight to all District KP Associates and other team members to ensure standardized implementation approaches and high standard of service provision across all project sites. The Provincial KP coordinator will support site teams in monitoring progress, compliance and quality of service delivery, evaluation and reporting. The position holder will establish and maintain strong collaboration and networking strategies with a variety of stakeholders at the provincial and district levels. They will also liaise with other Stop GBV Now Project technical and programmatic staff. This position reports to the Technical Advisor KP who is based in Ndola.
Duties and responsibilities
Responsible for development of provincial workplans and translation to project implementation while ensuring that technical approaches meet national, PEPFAR and global standards
Responsible for stakeholder engagement for project entry, smooth implementation and achievement of results
Responsible for implementation of quality assurance/quality improvement (QA/QI) approaches to ensure that services and operations at site level are in line with approved national Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).
Assist in providing direction, leadership and backstopping support to capacity building needs of district teams to ensure increased access to GBV prevention and response services by key populations.
Responsible for the development, review and submission of project deliverables at Provincial level – including work plans, project data reporting, success stories, documentation of best practices, and progress reports.
Collate monthly district level reports, facilitate review and editing and development and submission of monthly provincial progress reports.
Represent FHI 360 in key technical working groups (TWG) at provincial level and cultivate strong working relationships with district and provincial stakeholders including all local implementers.
Identifies structural barriers to the uptake of GBV prevention and response services for key population groups and ways to address those structural barriers working with community and district stakeholders.
Conduct trainings and facilitate capacity building sessions on various topics relevant to project deliverables including but not limited to GBV response, KP sensitivity, and paralegal training.
Participate in periodic assessments and site monitoring field visits of the project.
Coordinates all technical and M&E activities on the project for the province.
Facilitates timely submission of all project data.
Contribute to body of new evidence through knowledge sharing platforms, e.g., scientific abstracts to national and international conferences and other dissemination channels.
Travel within the province frequently for project activities and to the main project office in Ndola and other locations in the country as necessary.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and requirements
Diploma in Nursing/Diploma in Medical Sciences for Health or any related diploma.
A university degree will be added advantage.
Valid practicing license from Health Professions Council or Nursing Council of Zambia or other relevant body.
3-5 years of experience working in a related field with at least 2 years’ experience supervising field teams in a related field is required.
Prior experience working within NGO environment is a plus.
Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required.
Demonstrated ability as a team player, excellent communication skills, and strong computer aptitude in Microsoft office applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
