Job Description
The Mission
While this role reports to the Contract Manager / Service Manager, the purpose of this Project Manager (Site Supervisor) role is to develop and maintain service contract by maximizing availability and MTBF, MTTR, MTFS avoidance of long breakdowns and reduction in repetitive failures, Maintain company asset, Facility.
Duties and Responsibilities
To be the main contact person for the customer in terms of all service business issues on the site.
To Drive a safety culture with open, follow up.
To have Monthly Reports reconciled with the customer by 6th of each month.
Develop a strong and competent service team on site.
Develop a strong contractual and financial responsibility for the project.
Organization and planning of maintenance, preventive repair, maintenance work and emergency repairs.
To ensure regular machine Audits and inspections on site, and ensure all RCAS, are completed to form continuous improvement.
To maintain equipment on contract as per Epiroc maintenance manual
To ensure that all relevant documentation (work order, Operator/ Mechanical/ productivity checklists) is completed and there is full compliance from Artisans as per requirement.
To ensure that all tools, workshop facility and equipment are used correctly and kept in good working condition.
Ensure training Matrix is formulated and constant improvement.
To report on incident/accidents damage caused by the client.
Work shift rosters as per site requirements.
To perform other related work as assigned.
Monitoring compliance with schedules and deadlines, planning the placement of staff in accordance with the schedules, the timely preparation of fault reports, requests for spare parts and consumables for maintenance.
Manage all service resources as required to achieve targeted goals and objectives.
Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality requirements
Ensures implementation and maintenance of the SHEQ Management Systems in the department.
You are to maintain the following levels of safe practice in your department:
Fatal Injuries – 0
Lost Time Injuries (LTIs) – 0
Property damage – 0
Conducts monthly SHEQ meeting.
Ensures the SHEQ representative conducts daily SHEQ talks and monthly SHEQ inspections.
Ensures own safety and that of others.
Ensures compliance to legal requirements.
Ensures customer requirements are satisfied/met.
Requirements (Education and experience)
Advanced Technical Certificate / H.E.R / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent through experience.
HER Technician with 5 years relevant experience.
Key knowledge, attributes, skills and abilities
Strong Electrical and Mechanical knowledge of equipment will be an added advantage.
Ability in managing Artisans is essential.
Good planning, supervisory and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and show a strong sense of urgency.
