Job Title: Program Manager
Organization: Thrive Africa Network
Location: Zambia (Remote)
Type: Volunteer, 10-12 hours per week

Job Summary
As the Program Manager, you will play a vital role in coordinating and overseeing Thrive Africa Network’s flagship programs in Zambia. Reporting to the Country Coordinator, you will ensure the successful implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects. This is an impactful volunteer position suited to someone passionate about youth empowerment, development programs, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
– Program Coordination: Plan, implement, and monitor Thrive Hub Zambia and the 360-Degree Youth Empowerment programs to ensure they achieve their objectives.
– Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, managing program timelines, resources, and deliverables.
– Team Management: Lead a team of coordinators and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
– Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports for the Country Coordinator and the Regional Director, capturing program impact and identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications
– Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
– Experience: Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within non-profit or development programs.
– Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
– Commitment to Mission: A genuine interest in youth empowerment and knowledge of Zambia’s development challenges and opportunities.
