EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Zambia Health Education and Communication Trust (ZHECT) is an indigenous Zambian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), registered under the laws of Zambia and dedicated to providing high quality health services, social behaviour change interventions, research and capacity building for the improvement of the health status and general wellness of people in Zambia. ZHECT has accumulated a wealth of experience in providing Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV prevention and mitigation services to organizations and community mainly in Zambia. ZHECT is therefore focused on HIV/AIDS/STI prevention, Sexual Reproductive Health, Gender Based Violence and Economic Empowerment among vulnerable and hard to reach communities.
ZHECT is bidding to facilitate the implementation of HIV Prevention works in 32 districts across the country in conjunction with Global Funds under the Ministry of Health.
To ensure smooth and effective implementation of the project, ZHECT is seeking applications from well qualified candidates for the following positions;
1. Program Director: 1 Position
The Program Director will provide strategic leadership, oversee all program activities and ensure alignment with global fund requirements and MoH priorities. They will also be responsible for reporting to the MoH and Global Fund.
Qualifications: MBCHB or its equivalent, with Masters in Public Health and Not less than 10 years’ experience in HIV Programming with a bias towards prevention interventions. A PHD in a health field will be an added advantage.
