Job Description
Overall Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the office of the Director/CEO the Principle Officer – M&E will be responsible for monitoring progress, analyzing data and evaluating outcomes to ensure that the Training Centre is achieving its desired goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of the M&E system in line with the needs of KGRTC operations
- Undertake effective monitoring and evaluation of the Training Centre’s activities in order to assess performance and recommend interventions for improvement.
- Develop monitoring and evaluation tools and systems in order to support implementation of remedial measures.
- Conduct analysis of quantitative as well as qualitative data on all operational inputs, outputs and outcomes.
- Develop and review M&E policies to guide implementation of procedures.
- Conduct mid-term and annual performance review of the KGRTC Strategic Plan in order to facilitate implementation of appropriate interventions and support achievement of set objectives.
- Supervise and coordinate application of monitoring tools to track performance.
- Prepare and disseminate M&E reports on the progress of programmes or strategy implementation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements;
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Bachelors Degree in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.
- At least three (3) years work experience in a similar role.
- Must be a self starter.
Specific Skill Requirements
The candidate must possess the following specific skills
- Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.
- Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative monitoring methodologies and proven ability to design monitoring instrumentation tools.
- Strong facilitation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good project management skills
- Good organization and planning skills
