Job description:
Job Purpose
Plan, capture and monitor maintenance work at an operation in accordance with the Work Management Processes. Ensure all stakeholders adhere to maintenance planning procedures and processes.
Key responsibilities
- Raise the service schedule plan and avail the template plan to the backlog team
- Raise the component forecast plan
- Prepare the Budget for the section
- Raise the purchase requisitions
- Input on the daily maintenance report for the morning meeting
- PM & Schedule compliance adherence/Daily compliance
- Updating the component data base register/warranties
- Updating the BOM list
- PM Task maintenance
- Physical machine inspection in the w/shop/Machine healthy
- Planner will conduct the planning meeting /Review past week service schedule plan and in-coming week service schedule plan
- Updating of the component serial numbers in pronto
- Adherence to work order integrity e.g.status, codes, dates, labour, downtime, description, PM task, safety notes, serial numbers, sales orders etc.
- Planner to review parts stock availability in conjunction with purchase personnel
- Planner to attend OEM meetings
- Update the plant Item Register
Qualifications.
- Minimum of a grade twelve (Grade 12) School Certificate; and
- Craft Certificate or Better in Heavy Equipment Repair from recognized institution
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a related role
