Position Title: Phone Repairs and Service Instructor

Reporting to: The Principal

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Phone Repairs and Service Instructor to join our dynamic training team. As a Phone Repairs and Service Instructor, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of phone repair professionals by delivering high-quality, engaging, and hands-on training. You will report directly to the principal and work collaboratively with the training coordinator and a team of educators to uphold our organization’s commitment to excellence in phone repair education.

Job Description: The Lead Instructor will be responsible for:

  1. Course Delivery:
    • Conducting theoretical and practical sessions according to the course outline.
    • Providing clear explanations of mobile repair concepts and techniques.
    • Supervising trainees during practical exercises and guiding them in troubleshooting and repairing devices.
  2. Curriculum Management:
    • Developing and refining lesson plans for each module (hardware and software repair).
    • Ensuring all topics are covered, including soldering, screen replacement, motherboard repairs, and software troubleshooting.
  3. Training Supervision:
    • Assessing trainees’ progress and providing constructive feedback.
    • Monitoring tool usage and maintaining safety standards in the workshop.
    • Ensuring all trainees receive sufficient hands-on practice.
  4. Administrative Tasks:
    • Preparing course materials, including handouts and repair guides.
    • Assisting with certification preparation and practical exams.
    • Reporting progress and challenges to the program coordinator.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in mobile phone repair (both hardware and software).
  • Strong knowledge of mobile operating systems (Android/iOS).
  • Proficiency in using repair tools and diagnostic equipment.

Teaching Experience:

  • Prior experience as an instructor or trainer is preferred.
  • Ability to break down complex concepts for beginners.

Other Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and adaptability when working with diverse learners.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality training.
