Spring Pharmacy Ltd is Looking for  young energetic Pharmacy Technologist to work in one of its outlets in Zambia.

JOB SUMMARY

Perform the duties of a licensed Pharmacy Technologist; ensures the safety and security of merchandise; ensures unbending adherence to all laws and regulations governing the sale of pharmaceutical products.

Job Description

a) Temperature recording on a daily basis.

b) Pre-packing medicines Conducing blood pressure checkups on clients.

c) Recording expired medicines in the respective registers.

d) Receiving prescriptions and dispensing medicines.

e) Receiving and recording dangerous drugs in the respective registers.

f) Providing drug information to the clients.

g) Managing all the technical duties related to dispensing medicines, e.g. Translating prescriptions and dispensing appropriate medicines.

h) Managing the stock of the pharmacy i.e. making orders, receiving and record orders, pricing the products etc.

i) Keep all the records related to the purchase and dispensing of all prescription medicines, for inspection by the authority i.e. ZAMRA.

j) Separate all the expired, re-called and/or adulterated products in a secured area.

k) Ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of the pharmacy at all times.

l) Providing drug information, as well as other information related to the clients.

m) Conduct Malaria tests, as well as blood pressure check-ups and providing guidance on the management of the problem (Blood pressure) at hand if necessary

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certificate, and Licensure

Full Grade 12 Certificate; Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited College or University; Fully registered with HPCZ, at least two years’ experience in Retail Pharmacy;

Requirements

Must demonstrate practical knowledge of computers, software, and products applicable to the industry. Have the ability to demonstrate effective time management skills while working independently with minimal supervision and supervising others.

Leadership Requirements

Must demonstrate proficient ability to directly supervise department personnel in a manner consistent with company policies and applicable laws. This includes include training employees, planning, assigning, directing work, and complaint resolution.
