Responsibilities:

Assists the Pharmacist in the timely ordering of drugs and other medical supplies from suppliers.
Assists the Pharmacist in Reviewing prescriptions, organizing the pharmacy, delivering and labeling medications, providing information and advice to patients.
Assists the Pharmacist to ensure safe medication use.
Assists the Pharmacist to Prepare medicines according to Doctor’s prescriptions and monitors patients medical history.
Assists the Pharmacist in Providing consultancy on pharmaceutical care to patients in order to improve quality of care.
Assists in monitoring regularly the implementation of Pharmaceutical care.
Assists the pharmacists in reporting on the hazards that pharmacy staff may be exposed to.
Assists the Pharmacist in implementing pharmacovigilance service in the pharmacy.
Assists Pharmacists in preparing monthly pharmacy plans and budget.
Assists the Pharmacist in undertaking monthly drug utilization reviews, reviewing monthly sales and expenditures.
Education/ Professional Certifications.

Grade 12 and Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
Full Registration with Health Professions council of Zambia, Current Annual Practising Licence.
Knowledge/Experience:

2+ years Post Graduation experience.
