Job Description


Position Title 8: Mobile Broadband (MBB) Sales Manager

Location: Lusaka

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Independently responsible for the sales of Huawei MBB products (Routers, CPE).
  2. Ensuring the completion of market targets, sales targets and payment collection targets.
  3. Establish, consolidate, and maintain relationships with local carriers based on market strategies.
  4. Collect market information and competitive product information for business analysis.
  5. Assist the test department in signing for, sending samples, and performing some simple tests.
  6. Conduct commercial negotiation with the procurement department of the carrier.
  7. Assist the HQ in completing the entire project until the project is closed.
  8. Maintains great relations with vendors, contractors, subscribers, customers, and the general public in carrying out the responsibilities of this position
  9. Any other duties as delegated by supervisor/ management.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  1. Be familiar with Huawei device products (Routers, CPE).
  2. Have experience in MBB product project sales.
  3. Work experience related to carrier customer relations is preferred.
  4. Working in MBB industry for more than 3 years is preferred.

Qualifications and requirements

  1. Degree in Sales/ Marketing or its equivalent.
  2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecom industry or information technology.
  3. Ability to work alone & unmanaged and to work as part of a team when required
  4. High motivation, sense of responsibility, self-discipline
  5. Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above
  6. Strong communication and organizational skill
