Job Description
KUMA INVESTMENT CO LTD is a company which deals with Granite, Marble and Aluminum.
We are seeking a highly trained and qualified individual to join our team in Chipata (Eastern province) as a Mining Health and Safety Officer. This position works under the supervision of the Site Manager and is responsible for overseeing all site Safety programs.
Job Title: Mining health and safety officer
Location (Chipata, eastern province)
Job Responsibilities:
1. Creative, self-motivated, proactive and confident
2. able to work with other staff from other Departments, as well as site Visitors, Knowledge in occupational Health and safety and safety Acts/regulations
3. able to carry out Audits and Risk Assessments.
4. maintain the block yard and check ensure quality control is done
Qualification:
* Certificate in occupational Health and safety /equivalent with at-least 3 years’ work experience.
*Member of the Zambia Occupational Health and Safety Association (ZOHSA)
*Able to work with minimum supervision.
