About Us
Skills to Live Zambia, an affiliate of Young Africa, is dedicated to equipping young people with practical skills to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial potential. We are seeking a qualified and passionate Metal Fabrication Trainer to deliver high-quality vocational training in metal fabrication and welding.

Key Responsibilities
– Deliver theoretical and practical training in metal fabrication and welding.
– Develop and implement training curricula in line with TEVETA standards.
– Assess trainees’ performance and provide mentorship.
– Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
– Maintain workshop equipment and tools in good working condition.
– Collaborate with industry partners to enhance job placement opportunities for trainees.

Qualifications & Requirements
– TEVETA accreditation as a Metal Fabrication Trainer.
– Minimum Diploma or Craft in Metal Fabrication, Welding, or a related field.
– At least three (3) years of industry experience in metal fabrication.
– Previous teaching/training experience in a vocational setting is an advantage.
– Strong practical skills in welding (MIG, TIG, Arc), cutting, bending, and metal assembly.
– Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
– Passion for youth skills development and empowerment.
