A medical laboratory sales representative is responsible for selling medical and laboratory equipment, supplies, and services to healthcare facilities such as hospitals, clinics, and research labs. The job description typically includes the following responsibilities:

1. Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

2. Identifying and contacting potential customers to present and demonstrate products or services.

3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

4. Providing product information, technical support, and training to customers..

5. Keeping abreast of trends, market developments, and other activities.

7. Attending conferences, and networking events to promote products and services.

8. Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.

Requirements:

– A degree or diploma in biomedical science or related field.

– 0-3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting.

– Strong understanding of laboratory sciences and medical technology.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to effectively demonstrate and explain complex lab products and equipment.

– Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is an advantage.

– Willingness to travel and build relationships with healthcare professionals and clients.
