Job Description
MECHANIC/AUTO ELECTRICIAN – ZAMHATCH IN MPONGWE (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Installing and maintaining electrical systems contained in heavy duty vehicles.
- Performing electrical diagnostics fault finding on vehicle systems
- Repairing electrical and electronic faults and to repair electrical components.
- Checking and testing components and faults after repairs.
- Maintaining a clean work environment.
- Completing job reports and processing paperwork.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 School certificate or equivalent with at least 5 credits.
- Must have a minimum qualification of Craft certificate in Automotive Electrical.
- Qualified in vehicle diagnostics.
- Must be computer literate.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as Mechanic/Auto Electrician
The Required Attributes Include:
- Computer skills for operating DAF truck diagnostic software.
- 12 voltage and 24 voltage direct current knowledge.
- A problem-solving ability.
- Experience with DAF trucks.
