Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Marketing Officer – Digital at Dana Group is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies that enhance the company’s online presence, increase brand awareness, and drive customer engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing tools, content creation, and data-driven decision-making to align with Dana Group’s overall marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns that align with Dana Group’s overall marketing strategy. Manage and optimize the company’s digital presence across various platforms. Stay updated on digital trends and competitor activities to ensure Dana Group remains innovative and competitive.
- Social Media Management: Manage Dana Group’s social media accounts ensuring consistent branding and engagement. Develop content calendars and create engaging, high-quality posts, including images, videos, and copywriting. Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms promptly and professionally. Monitor social media analytics to track engagement, reach, and conversion metrics, optimizing campaigns accordingly.
- Content Creation & Management: Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing and informative digital content. Write compelling and SEO-friendly content for blogs, website pages, and social media posts. Ensure all content aligns with Dana Group’s brand voice, values, and objectives.
- Email & SMS Marketing: Develop and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns to engage customers and drive sales. Create personalized and segmented email marketing campaigns to target different customer groups.
- Digital Advertising & Performance Analytics: Plan and execute paid digital campaigns. Track campaign performance using key metrics (ROI, CPC, CTR, conversion rates) and adjust strategies for better outcomes. Generate reports on digital marketing efforts and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Online Reputation & Customer Engagement: Monitor online reviews and manage customer feedback on platforms. Address customer complaints and inquiries professionally, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Engage in influencer and brand ambassador collaborations to expand reach. Cross-Department Collaboration. Work closely with the broader marketing team, sales department, and management to align digital strategies with company objectives. Support event promotions and activations by creating digital awareness campaigns.
Education & Experience:
- Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) O Levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field from a duly accredited higher learning institution.
- Membership of the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM).
- At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a similar role.
- Experience in the automotive, agriculture, oil & lubricants, or FMCG sectors is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital advertising platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies.
- Strong skills and Experience with email marketing tools, google analytics, social media insights, and other digital performance tools.
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop or similar software.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management.
