𝗝𝗢𝗕 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘
Maintenance Foreman to lead our maintenance team and ensure the reliable operation of our mining equipment and infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, be familiar with mining industry regulations, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒
1. Lead and supervise a team of artisans and maintenance assistants.
2. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.
3. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs.
4. Coordinate and execute maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements.
5. Prepare for spare parts, tools and maintenance consumables such as oils
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
7. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
8. Train and mentor team members to improve skills and knowledge.
9. Analyze and report on maintenance performance metrics.

𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟/𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦/𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘
a) Professional Qualifications :

• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma/Advance Craft Certificate in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent
• A Technician’s Certificate in Plant Fitting will be an added advantage.
• Paid up Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
• Silicosis Certificate
• Must be physically fit and with necessary dexterity to work with tools.
• Reliable / independent
• Effective written and verbal skills
• Team building skills / consensus builder.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

b) 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:

• At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance environment of which 1 year should have been a supervisory position

• Leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all staff.
