Job Description
Mongu Trades Training Institute is seeking a passionate and experienced Bricklaying and Masonry Lecturer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training to students in bricklaying and masonry, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their careers.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver engaging and effective lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in bricklaying and masonry.
– Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
– Provide mentorship and support to students, fostering a positive and conducive learning environment.
– Assess and evaluate students’ performance through tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
– Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate into teaching practices.
– Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and other institute events.
– Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and grades.
Qualifications and Experience
– Craft in Bricklaying, Masonry, or a related field.
– Teaching methodology
– A minimum of 3 years of industry experience in bricklaying and masonry.
– Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to inspire and motivate students.
– Proficiency in using instructional technology and tools.
Preferred Skills
– Knowledge of modern bricklaying and masonry techniques and materials.
– Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
– Commitment to continuous professional development.
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners.
